Cardiogen
Kisspeptin-10
Primary target
Cardiovascular cell gene expressionKhavinson 2022
GPR54/Kiss1R on hypothalamic GnRH neuronsRønnekleiv 2026Collado-Sole 2026
Pathway
Peptide bioregulation → modulation of SASP / inflammaging → cardiac tissue homeostasisKhavinson 2022
Kisspeptin → GPR54 activation → GnRH neuronal depolarization → Pulsatile GnRH release → Pituitary LH/FSH secretionLages 2026Rønnekleiv 2026
Downstream effect
Suppression of senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP), reduction of age-related inflammatory markers, modulation of heat shock protein expression in cardiac tissue
Pulsatile LH surge, FSH elevation, gonadal steroidogenesis, gametogenesis initiationLages 2026
Feedback intact?
Presumed — peptide bioregulators act via gene regulation, not receptor agonism
Yes — integrates estradiol, leptin, and IGF-1 signals to modulate HPG axisSilva 2026Rønnekleiv 2026
Origin
Derived from cardiac tissue peptide extracts; synthetic analogue based on Khavinson bioregulator methodology
C-terminal decapeptide of KISS1 gene product; retains full biological activity of longer kisspeptin isoforms

02Dosage Protocols

Parameter
Cardiogen
Kisspeptin-10
Standard dose
Variable — typically 10–20 mg per course
No standardised human protocol; animal-derived dosing.
Frequency
Intermittent courses — 10–20 days, repeated periodically
Khavinson-school bioregulators typically dosed as periodic interventions, not continuous.
Evidence basis
Animal models / mechanistic studies
No Phase 1+ human trials in PubMed.
Phase 1/2 trials
Route
Subcutaneous injection
IV or SQ administration
IV preferred in controlled trials for precise pulsatile delivery.
Duration
10–20 day courses, repeated 2–4× per year
Russian geriatric protocols; unclear extrapolation to general populations.
Clinical trial dose
Phase 1/2 investigational
Dosing protocols vary by indication (hypothalamic amenorrhea, IVF trigger).
Half-life
Short (minutes)
Rapid clearance; pulsatile dosing mimics physiological GnRH pulse frequency.

04Side Effects & Safety

Parameter
Cardiogen
Kisspeptin-10
Injection site reactions
Mild erythema, induration (presumed)
Systemic adverse events
No documented serious AEs in available literature
Very limited safety data; no rigorous pharmacovigilance.
Immunogenicity
Unknown — no antibody development studies published
Long-term safety
Unknown — no extended human trials indexed in PubMed
Ovarian hyperstimulation
Theoretical risk with supraphysiological dosing in fertility protocols
Headache
Mild, reported in early-phase trials
Nausea
Transient GI symptoms with IV bolus
Hot flashes
Vasomotor symptoms from LH surge
Injection site reaction
Erythema, mild discomfort (SQ route)
Absolute Contraindications
Cardiogen
  • ·Active malignancy (theoretical peptide growth factor concern)
  • ·Hypersensitivity to peptide components
Kisspeptin-10
  • ·Active pregnancy
  • ·Hormone-sensitive malignancy (breast, ovarian, endometrial)
Relative Contraindications
Cardiogen
  • ·Acute cardiac events (no safety data in acute MI, unstable angina)
  • ·Pregnancy / lactation (no reproductive toxicity data)
Kisspeptin-10
  • ·Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) without monitoring
  • ·Uncontrolled thyroid dysfunction

05Administration Protocol

Parameter
Cardiogen
Kisspeptin-10
1. Reconstitution
Add sterile water or saline per manufacturer instructions (typically 1–2 mL per lyophilised vial). Roll gently to dissolve.
Reconstitute with sterile water or saline per protocol. Gently swirl — do not shake. Solution should be clear and colorless.
2. Injection site
Subcutaneous — abdomen or thigh. Rotate sites. Use sterile technique.
IV infusion for pulsatile delivery in clinical trials; SQ for outpatient protocols. IV allows precise temporal control of GnRH pulse frequency.
3. Timing
Variable — often evening injection. No established circadian preference.
Pulsatile dosing (e.g., every 60–90 min) mimics physiological GnRH pulse generator. Single-bolus protocols used for LH surge induction in fertility research.
4. Storage
Lyophilised: refrigerate 2–8 °C, protect from light. Reconstituted: use immediately or refrigerate, discard after 7–14 days per labeling.
Serial LH, FSH, estradiol measurements to confirm HPG axis activation. Ultrasound monitoring for ovarian response in fertility applications.
5. Needle
27–30G insulin syringe, 45° angle for subcutaneous administration.
Lyophilized: store at 2–8 °C, light-protected. Reconstituted: refrigerate, use within 24–48 hours per protocol.

06Stack Synergy

Cardiogen
+ Thymalin
Moderate
View Thymalin

Khavinson-school multi-organ bioregulator approach: thymalin (thymic peptide) addresses immune senescence while cardiogen targets cardiac tissue. Combined use in geriatric populations demonstrated normalisation of cardiovascular, endocrine, and immune parameters with reduced mortality over 6–8 years of observation.
